Cellnex is a leading telecoms company, known for its extensive network infrastructure and innovative work in smart city technologies. As someone passionate about urban design and eco-friendly cities, I was particularly excited to collaborate with them on this project.

I was tasked with designing materials for a workshop, including a 2m x 2m floor mat depicting a fictional city, A4 lesson guides, A5 instructional cards, and presentation slides. The aim was to create engaging, educational resources that aligned with Cellnex’s vision and brand identity.

A key component was the floor mat, designed to accommodate micro:bit computers. It allowed participants to explore smart city concepts by moving the devices around the map. The design had to be visually engaging, informative, and reflective of the technological innovation Cellnex champions. The final product was both a practical workshop tool and a vibrant representation of a modern smart city.

Following my earlier collaboration on the design and visual direction of I'm Probably Perfect's first two sold-out club nights, I returned to develop the visual identity for its third event. Building on the visual language established previously, this iteration expanded the project's narrative ambitions through more cinematic, story-led motion graphics, tongue in cheek promotional material, and an increasingly self-aware visual identity that continued to blur the line between sincere nightlife branding and satire.

The third edition also welcomed deBasement, the duo of Special Interest's Alli Logout and DJ/producer Margo XS, as part of their headline tour. Their uncompromising, high-energy aesthetic introduced a significantly broader international audience to the project, requiring a careful integration of deBasement's eclectic visual identity with the established I'm Probably Perfect ethos. The result was a campaign that retained the project's distinctive voice while evolving it into its most ambitious and widely seen iteration to date, further cementing its reputation as one of Glasgow's most talked about club nights.
